CEE2D

Home

The breakthroughs in the study of collective excitations in two-dimensional systems provide a fresh look on fundamental properties of light and matter and foresee the development of conceptually new devices. CEE2D will discuss the most recent highlights in Pisa (Italy) on September 20-24 2015.
We are confident that this will be an exciting interdisciplinary event offering all the attendants great opportunities for in-depth discussions. CEE2D is the final conference of the INDEX (Indirect excitons: Fundamental physics and applications), project financed by FP7 within the Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions (Grant Agreement n° 289968).

A brief list of topics discussed during the event includes:

– Basic exciton physics
– Indirect excitons
– Collective phenomena in two-dimensional crystals
– Electrically formed electron-hole systems.
