The International School on the Physics of Indirect Excitons will take place at the Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture (EMFCSC) that is situated in the old pre-mediaeval city of Erice in four restored monasteries.
Placed on a high triangular plateau overlooking the sea, Erice stands at an altitude of 750m on the mountain of the same name. Defended by walls and towers, the medieval town is a labyrinth of paved alleyways and narrow streets and on bright sunny days in summer, it offers superb views of the sea and surrounding valley.
HOW TO REACH ERICE
Fly to Palermo airport or to Trapani airport.
Transfer from airports to the Center will be provided by the EMFCSC organization.
